Atlanta Botanical Garden Chef Series
The Atlanta Botanical Garden once again is offering its Well-Seasoned Chef demos, now in two series. The program will feature a number of Atlanta's best-known farm-to-table chefs, including Kevin Gillespie, Hugh Acheson and Carvel Grant Gould. Chefs will prepare menus with food harvested from the Edible Garden. Recipes and wine pairings are designed to highlight locally grown produce. This Texas-based chain is quickly becoming one of the country's fastest growing barbecue franchises. Acoustix Jazz Restaurant and Lounge, which opened on March 24, wants to bring the feel of a Harlem jazz club to Midtown. Catering to jazz enthusiasts, complete with a pianist who greets patrons as they walk in the door, this new eatery features an eclectic menu.
