Big Sky opens in Buckhead
Abattoir chef Hector Santiago and the team from his former Latin sandwich shop, Super Pan, created the menu for Big Sky Buckhead, which opened for lunch on Feb. 19 and begins bar and dinner service this week. Look for the likes of pork buns, rice and bean bowls, sandwiches, burgers, wings and sweets. James Beard Award semifinalists
The James Beard Foundation announced its 2014 list of Restaurant and Chef Award semifinalists last week. The finalists will be announced live on March 18. Food & Wine Fest tickets on sale

Kevin Rathbun Steak Beltline Patio
Kevin Rathbun Steak in Inman Park recently completed a 900-square-foot covered patio located steps away from the Atlanta Beltline. Dubbed the Beltline Patio, it features a 6-foot-wide fireplace built from reclaimed brick, a Big Ass brand ceiling fan, a seating area and two cocktail rails.
