We explored the metro area not for the best restaurants, but for the best restaurant neighborhoods. These are the four we think offer the best starting points for anyone who wants to explore good dining in and around Atlanta.
Each of the four — Decatur, Roswell, Duluth and westside — offers an incomparable mix of destination dining, variety, surprise and its own kind of charm. We cross bridges over railroad tracks, people watch, duck into alleyways, snuggle under patio heaters and walk the periphery of huge Asian malls looking for the newest and greatest.
