Sweet Georgia’s Juke Joint
Located in the former Macy's building on Peachtree Street, Sweet Georgia's Juke Joint opened recently. With a wooden dance floor and stage for live music, it offers what it calls an "eatertainment" experience. Sweet Georgia's Juke Joint serves Southern fare including house-made pimento cheese, black-eyed pea hummus and crispy crawfish tails. The Cumming Harvest, an online source for purchasing local organic produce is hosting a traditional farmer's market with their growers on Saturday, March 19. While customers typically pre-order foods to pick up, at the Open Market, shoppers may browse farmer's stands and make purchases.
