Netflix food in person
If you’re obsessed with Netflix food shows, this may convince you to leave the house: Lazy Betty, recently named a James Beard Award semifinalist for Best New Restaurant, will host Scottish chef Graham Campbell from the cooking competition show “The Final Table.” The Michelin-starred chef will collaborate with the Lazy Betty team for their Tuesday dinner service. BBQ fun for the family
Sip & Swine BBQ Festival returns to Coolray Field this month for its fifth year of family-friendly barbecue fun. A Kids Q competition has been added to the mix, joining amateur and professional competition categories. The event is free, but plenty of barbecue, beer, and arts and crafts from local vendors will be available for purchase. Proceeds from the event benefit the Home of Hope at Gwinnett Children’s Shelter.

Celebrate Tex-Mex
Has it been five years already? Superica at Krog Street Market, the popular Tex-Mex restaurant from chef Ford Fry, is replacing dinner service on Saturday, March 7, with a special ticketed party. For just $5 per person, tickets include entry and food options like tacos al carbon and ceviche tostadas. There will be a cash bar with drink specials, and a specialty anniversary cocktail will be available all month long.

Ladies and local food
A slate of all-female all-star chefs and bartenders are serving the best local food and drink Atlanta has to offer at Monday Night Garage on International Women's Day. Lady Locavores is an event that recognizes women for their contributions to food, dining and gender equality. After the awards ceremony, all ticketed guests will be able to mingle and taste food and drink from Atlanta's female culinary leaders.

Learn the art of spice blending
Understanding how to use and mix exotic, expensive spices can be intimidating, even for experienced home cooks. Learn to harness the full potential of your spice cabinet from chef Lior Lev Sercarz, author of "Mastering Spice" and the chef and owner of La Boite in New York, who will teach a spice master class at Cooks & Soldiers. Attendees will get a hands-on spice blending tutorial, light bites and a custom spice blend to take home, as well as a signed copy of Sercarz's book.

Wine lovers weekend
Beginning on Wednesday, March 18, and culminating on Saturday, March 21, the High Museum Wine Auction is one of the crown jewels of Atlanta’s dining events calendar. Exclusive Dine Around dinners on Wednesday pair top chefs and winemakers for prix fixe coursed dinners at Atlanta restaurants, while the Thursday Winemaker Dinners use the same formula in various private homes and spaces around the city. The week culminates in the Vintners’ Reception and Live Auction at Atlantic Station with the opportunity to taste offerings from more than 100 world-class vintners and experience the electrifying Live Auction selling rare bottles, unique experiences and unbelievable trips. Enhance your ‘Hamilton’ experience
If you were lucky enough to score tickets to the Atlanta run of the blockbuster musical “Hamilton,” here’s some more good news: Starting on March 31, Murphy’s in Virginia-Highland will be serving a special three-course prix fixe menu for ticket holders. Diners must make a reservation and present their same-day tickets to “Hamilton” for access to the special menu, which includes dishes like avocado toast, the famous Murphy’s burger and a mini Bonzo cake for just $35 per person. The special deal will run through May 3.
