If you attended the Atlanta Brunch Festival in March but still have a hankering for mimosas and eggs benedict, you're in luck.
The first Brookhaven Brunch Festival will take place Nov. 12 at Brookhaven Park, with many of the same vendors who appeared at the Atlanta event.
Organizer Mike DiLonardo — founder of Atlanta Beer Festivals, which is co-hosting with Atlanta Wine Party — said while the list of restaurants isn't yet confirmed, he hopes to have at least 50 eateries at the event. Every business that participated in the Atlanta Brunch Festival in March will be invited to participate, including Venkman's, D.B.A. Barbecue, Dish Dive, Einstein's, Food 101, Ladybird, Shake Shack and Wahoo Grill. In addition, Brookhaven brunch restaurants including Kaleidoscope, There, Haven, Flying Biscuit will also be asked to be a part of the event.
Tickets will go on sale at noon on Wednesday, Sept. 21. General admission tickets - which include entry and one food ticket - are $20 in advance, $25 after Nov. 3 and $30 on the day of the event. Additional food tastings will be $3 paid to the restaurant vendor, and there will be cash bars available for beer, bloody marys, mimosas and wine. VIP tickets -- which include 11 a.m. entry, unlimited drinks, a VIP food tent and three food tickets, are $65 in advance and $75 after Nov. 3 Purchase tickets here and get more information on the event here.
