Few things in this world are better than the delights of authentic Mexican food. This week's Best of Atlanta poll is on the hunt for the tastiest Mexican fare around.

Taqueria Los Hermanos is the culinary concept of six brothers with an appetite for excellent food in a family atmosphere. The taqueria, which has a Lawrenceville location, got your number one spot as best Mexican restaurant serving up only the best since 2000.

Coming in second place, Nuevo Laredo Cantina on the Westside has been an Atlanta favorite since 1992. We highly recommend the chicken mole or lobster tacos.

The secret's out, and El Trompo Mexican Taqueria in Alpharetta is one hot tamale. They give third place an authentic spin you won't soon forget.

If an authentic Mexican food experience is what you crave, then check out our other official nominees: La Carreta Hispanic Grocery and Taqueria (Cobb), Bone Garden Cantina (Westside), Mezcalito's Cantina (DeKalb), Mi Barrio (Intown) and Superica (Intown).

You don't have to travel far to find exceptional Mexican cuisine. Here are the best bets from five Atlanta neighborhoods.

There's nothing wrong with some tasty Tex-Mex. Dive into some creamy queso at these local restaurants.

Prefer guacamole? Feed your habit on some of the best in town.
