The first official day of summer isn’t until June 20, but one festival is helping Atlanta residents (and visitors) celebrate the season with an event dedicated to drinking.

The 6th annual Atlanta Summer Beer Fest will take place in the Historic 4th Ward Park on June 18.

The five-hour event is presented by Atlanta Beer Festivals, the organization responsible for festivals such as the Atlanta Brunch Fest.

More than 200 beers, ciders and “a small selection of wine” will be available to attendees, according to a press release.

The full lineup of local, and American craft and macro breweries will be released the week of the event.

Admission includes a souvenir cup, live entertainment and beer samples. Food will be sold separately.

Vendors will stop serving beer at 8:45 p.m. Free bottled water will be available.

Designated driver tickets will not be offered.

If You Go: 4 p.m. – 9 p.m. $40; $45 (after June 9); $55 (day of show). June 18. Historic 4th Ward Park, 680 Dallas Street, Atlanta. atlantasummerbeerfest.com.
