The Atlanta Mac and Cheese festival isn't until October, but you can start preparing for it now.
Event organizers have announced that tickets for the highly-anticipated event are now on sale.
For $20, attendees will be able to sample food from five of the vendors who will set up shop at Walker Park from 12:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m on Oct. 8. Additional samples will not be available for purchase.

- Grand Champion BBQ
- Illegal Food
- Mac the Cheese
- Nana' G's
- Smoke Belly BBQ
- Wahoo! Grill
- Wrecking Bar Brewpub
- Wyatt's BBQ
- Always Brunch
- Boy Howdy
- Chef Crystal
- Chef Tony
- Comingle Cuisine
- Low Country Boys Catering & Culinary Services
- Michael Anderson
- The Stiletto Chef
- The Produce Wagon
- Atlanta Butt Society
Unknown Brewing Company, King of Pops and Mac It Up will also be on site offering food and beverages at an additional cost. General admission samples will not cover anything from these vendors.
Additional vendors will be announced at a later date.
The Atlanta Macaroni & Cheese Festival will benefit Neighbor in Need, an organization whose mission is to help low income elderly residents in East Lake, Kirkwood and Edgewood, East Atlanta and Decatur's Oakhurst Community with emergency home repairs.
The organization is run completely by volunteers.
