The rolling series of spring festivals in metro Atlanta communities continues this weekend. Get out and enjoy the fun at:

Inman Park Festival

“Atlanta’s best street festival” throws a spirited, eccentricity-embracing spring fling.

The quirky parade (2 p.m. April 27) brings out creative expression, with appearances by the Attache Case Drill Team, the Seed & Feed Marching Abominable, paraders dressed as butterflies (the neighborhood symbol) and more.

Juried Arts and Crafts Show and Street Market from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. April 27-28. A Tour of Homes spotlights a mix ranging from rambling Victorians to cozy bungalows, noon-4 p.m. April 26 and noon-6 p.m. April 27-28 ($15 advance; $20 at the fest). Three music stages crank out the sounds starting late mornings April 27-28; classical and contemporary dance 4-5 p.m. both days. Smyrna Spring Jonquil Festival

A two-day outdoor event in Smyrna celebrates food, music, art, handmade crafts and entertainment. Staged outdoors on the Village Green in downtown Smyrna, it features more than 175 artisans from throughout the Southeast with paintings, jewelry, clothing and furniture.

Festival foods include cotton candy, candy apples, corn dogs, hand-dipped ice cream, snow cones, polish sausage, chicken sandwiches and barbecue.

Peter Hall’s Atlanta Puppet Show for kids, and acoustic music from Scott Thompson. Patrons may want to visit the Annual Crawfish & Shrimp Boil, presented both days by Atkins Park at the Smyrna Market Village.

Sandy Springs Beer Fest

Representatives from metro Atlanta’s growing craft beer brewers, domestic and imported beers, a home-brew competition in which the winner will get a chance to brew a batch at Red Brick Brewing and provide tastings at a brewery event, live music and food.

World War II Heritage Days

Re-enactors, WWII vehicles, vintage aircraft, historical displays, guest speakers, demonstrations for the family. Music from the 1940s with local singers and actors. “Keep ‘em Flying,” a WWII-theme hangar dance featuring the Peachtree Jazz Edition, on Saturday.
