Chance the Rapper, Hall & Oates and more: 15 Atlanta concerts to attend in June

June is jam-packed with can’t-miss concerts and many of them haven’t sold out yet.

No matter your genre preference, there is a concert in this roundup that will appeal to you.

From Paul Simon to Gladys Knight, here are the concerts we’re anticipating:

Paul Simon

Paul Simon will return to Atlanta following a show at the Fox Theatre in May. Simon's Chastain Park Amphitheatre show will kick off the venue's 2017 Delta Live Nation Concert Series A. The singer/songwriter may be retiring soon, so this could be the last opportunity for Atlanta fans to see him live.

112 & Jagged Edge 

R&B fans are in for a treat when Fox Theatre’s Saturday Soul series kicks off with a show that highlights male R&B acts from Atlanta.

112 and Jagged Edge will headline the show. Silk and Bobby V will also make an appearance.

Russ

Roswell native Russ will bring his fun blend of R&B and hip-hop to the Tabernacle this month. You might recognize the musicians from his popular single “Losin Control.”

The Avett Brothers

The Avett Brothers will perform three back-to-back shows at the Fox Theatre this month. The band released their ninth studio album, “True Sadness,” in 2016.

Maze featuring Frankie Beverly

Chastain Park Amphitheatre will feel like a family reunion when Maze featuring Frankie Beverly perform classic R&B songs such as “Before I Let Go.”

Hall & Oates

Hall & Oates, Tears for Fears and R&B singer Allen Stone are headed to Duluth this month for what is sure to be one of the most exciting concerts of summer.

Chance the Rapper

Chicago’s Chance the Rapper will bring his high-energy set to Lakewood Amphitheatre on June 11. Expect a curious blend of rap, hip-hop and gospel during his set.

Luke Bryan

Luke Bryan’s Verizon Amphitheatre will serve as a homecoming of sorts for the Leesburg singer. The show is a part of Bryan’s “Huntin’, Fishin’ and Lovin’ Every Day” tour.

Birthday Bash

Local rappers Gucci Mane, Migos and B.o.B are participating in Hot 107.9’s Birthday Bash. Lil Uzi Vert, Fat Joe and Remy Ma, and D.R.A.M. will also perform at the annual hip-hop concert.

Keke Wyatt

R&B singer Keke Wyatt will put on a show at Center Stage Theater for fans of soul music. Wyatt appeared on TV One’s “R&B Divas: Atlanta.”

Gladys Knights
