VH1 Cancels Reality Series Starring Murder Suspect

Aug 31, 2009

The dating show "Megan Wants a Millionaire" has reportedly been canceled, following a murder investigation into the death of model Jasmine Fiore, with the show's contestant Ryan Alexander Jenkins as a suspect.

A spokesman for VH1 confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that the reality series was canceled on Friday. The show, "Megan Wants a Millionaire," followed Megan Hauserman as wealthy men tried to win her over.

Jenkins was a contender on the show as well as on another VH1 reality series called "I Love Money 3," which has not yet aired, THR reports. The spokesman for the cable channel tells the trade publication that no decision has been made on the "I Love Money" show as to whether it will actually be televised.
