Taylor Swift spoke to press backstage at MTV's "2009 Video Music Awards" and answered questions regarding Kanye West's surprise interruption of her acceptance speech.
The newly crowned recipient of Best Female Video praised the graciousness of Beyonce Knowles. When accepting the award for Video of the Year, Knowles invited Swift on stage to finish delivering her acceptance speech.
Swift said in the press conference, "Before the talented artist, the superstar, she's always been a great person and I just, I thought that I couldn't love Beyonce more tonight and then tonight happened and it was just wonderful."
