Swimmer Amanda Beard Gives Birth to Baby Boy

Olympic swimmer Amanda Beard is accustomed to gold around her neck and now she has a bundle of blue in her arms. The champion athlete has given birth to a baby boy.
According to People, the new mom welcomed Blaise Ray Brown on Tuesday in Los Angeles. The baby weighed in at 7 pounds, 12 ounces.
Beard told People, "I was in labor for about 16 hours and it was all worth it. He is happy and healthy and everything went as planned."
