In an interview with "Entertainment Tonight," Dash said being transgender is a lifestyle choice.

In addition to saying that being transgender is a choice, she expressed that trans people should use the bushes to go to the bathroom, in response to controversial legislation about bathrooms used by transgender people.

The law, referred to as HB2, says people must use locker rooms and restrooms based on the gender on their birth certificate.

The full comment is below:

"Go to the bushes. I don't know what to tell you. I'm not going to put my child's life at risk because you want to change a law so that you can be comfortable with your beliefs, which means I have to change my beliefs and my rights. No."

In addition to those comments, Dash blamed Hollywood for being liberally biased.

"Hollywood pushes a liberal agenda to the rest of the country," she said. "And, whether we like it or not, Hollywood dictates the culture of the country."
