The newly single Jennifer Lopez is in town filming "What to Expect When You're Expecting," and has brought some of Hollywood's eager shutterbugs with her. We hear that images of Lopez are greatly coveted by the celebrity glossies in the aftermath of her split with Marc Anthony. The movie, also starring Cameron Diaz and Chris Rock, set up shop in Midtown on Tuesday and downtown on Wednesday. We hear Lopez shot a scene Wednesday at the Hilton Garden Inn on Baker Street downtown. If you glimpsed her, good for you. We're also told that Lopez, who arrived in Atlanta by private plane, is being whisked through town amid tight security, in a caravan of SUVs with dark-tinted windows.

Overscene
Tabatha Coffey, the celebrity hairstylist whose words are as sharp as her shears, is in town. We don't know why, although it seems likely that the star of the Bravo show "Tabatha's Salon Takeover" is here to take over someone's salon. Bravo isn't saying whose. Quipped our tipster, who saw Coffey in the Little Five Points area on Tuesday morning, "Not sure which salon was the victim."
Listen to Mama Jan
We're covering the launch of a new nonprofit aimed at assisting young artists next week. More on that to come. Tuesday night we checked in with one of the organizers, Jan Smith, the vocal coach and mentor who has worked with artists including Justin Bieber and Usher. We asked for her thoughts on the late Amy Winehouse. "I knew the girl was in trouble a long time before last week," Smith said. "Because she was successful, that made it possible for her to continue [substance abuse] and people looked the other way. I think Michael Jackson is dead because of that." Known in the industry as Mama Jan for her loving but firm approach, Smith isn't worried any of her charges with take a similar path. Not on her watch. "I will get in people's faces," she said. "I don't think we should glorify drug abuse and bad behavior."
