The historic Brookhaven Candlelight Tour of Homes, planned for 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 29, aims to make a stressful stay in Atlanta more pleasant for families whose children are here receiving medical treatment. The event, chaired by Donna Davidson with co-chair Tami Ayres, will benefit Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities. Committee members include Dawn Anderson, Cathy Brewer, Ann Culley, Evelyn Dukes, Claire Ford, Melanie Hong, Virginia Johnston, Melissa Longosz, Holly Moffett, Kathy Morrison, Ruth Skogstad, Shanna Smith and Tara Widener. Brookhaven residents Adele and Jim Abrahamson will host a Sept. 14 luncheon previewing the tour. Tour tickets are $50 the day of the event or $40 in advance. Luncheon tickets are $30.
