Paul Walker's daughter has filed a lawsuit against Porsche claiming that a faulty car caused his death.

Meadow Walker, in papers filed by her attorney, claims that the seatbelt in the 2005 Porsche Carrera GT that he was a passenger in snapped the actor back, breaking his ribs and pelvis, trapping him in the seat as the car burned around him, US Magazine reported.

The suit also claims that the driver, Walker's friend Roger Rodas, was not driving as fast as the police report claimed, ABC News reported.

The suit said the car had a "history of instability and control issues" and that Porsche could have prevented the problems by adding the Porsche Stability Management System.

The system prevents swerving and is standard in other models.

Meadow Walker's attorney also claims there are other issues with the car including deficient side door reinforcements and fuel lines that didn't protect the car from fire, US Magazine reported.

Walker and Rodas died in the crash in California on Nov. 30, 2013, Entertainment Tonight reported.
