Hollywood has gone OTP this week, with a number of projects shooting in the suburbs. The Billy Crystal-Bette Midler movie "Us and Them" is filming in Alpharetta, and the Vince Vaughn-Ben Stiller-Adam Sandler movie "Neighborhood Watch" is filming in Cobb County.
Vaughn was spotted on Tuesday having lunch at Paces 88, the restaurant at the St. Regis Hotel in Buckhead, and Stiller was seen hanging out at Holeman & Finch. He happened to be there the night Lady Gaga stopped by. (Small world!) The site onlocationvacation.com reports Denzel Washington has been filming scenes for the movie "Flight" in Newton County this week.
Paula Deen to visit metro Atlanta
The Food Network' Paula Deen will sign her latest book, "Paula Deen's Southern Cooking Bible," at the BJ's Wholesale Club in Woodstock from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday. The address is 105 Long Drive. The event is open to members of BJ's, which does not, sadly, stand for Butter Joy. Maybe it should, just for a day.
Overscene
Ron Livingston, known for his roles in the movie "Office Space" and the HBO series "Sex and the City," had a couple of date nights with his wife, actress Rosemarie DeWitt, this weekend. Tipsters spotted them at Yeah Burger and Radial Cafe...Suge Knight, the co-founder and former CEO of Death Row Records, rolled up to the McDonough Golden Corral late Saturday night with an entourage of about eight people. Our tipster wasn't sure it was him, so she walked up to say hello. Yep, it was Knight, and he was happy to chat for a few minutes with our tipster and her 14-year-old son. "He told my son to stay in school," she said.

A high-flying birthday gift
Delta is ready when the Rev. Joseph Lowery is. At Lowery's 90th birthday celebration, held Sunday at the Woodruff Arts Center, the Atlanta-based airline announced a 757 dedicated in the Civil Rights icon's honor. "I don't have anywhere to park the thing!" quipped Lowery. His new ride will take him to Washington for this weekend's official dedication of the monument erected in the Rev. Martin Luther King's honor.
Lowery's birthday bash included video tributes from President Barack Obama, poet Maya Angelou and Oprah Winfrey; performances from artists including Stevie Wonder, Peabo Bryson and the Blind Boys of Alabama; and remarks from a slew of notables including U.S. Rep. John Lewis, Revs. Al Sharpton and C.T. Vivian, former mayors Shirley Franklin and Andy Young, Martin Luther King III and his sister Rev. Bernice King.
The evening ranged from party scene to church service, and ended on a sweet note, with Lowery presenting his wife, Evelyn, with a bouquet of roses. "If I had known it was this much fun," he said, "I would have been 90 long before now."
