If you were driving near Smith's Olde Bar Thursday night (or trying to), you probably didn't make really great time. You can thank Jennifer Lopez, who was filming some scenes for the movie "What To Expect When You're Expecting." Traffic was a mess. "I had no idea it was there and it took me 30 minutes to drive a mile tonight," one of our Facebook friends, Katerina Lewis, lamented Thursday. J-Lo also has been filming downtown, at the Hilton on Baker Street and Ventanas, a special-events facility. "What to Expect" is billed as an "ensemble comedy" in which five couples are about to become parents for the first time. It stars a slew of other big names including Cameron Diaz, Chris Rock, Anna Kendrick and Chace Crawford.
Always the bridesmaid?
TLC's "Say Yes to the Dress: Bridesmaids," set at Bridals for Lori in Atlanta, will be back next season after a successful test run of six episodes this past month. Season two will feature 18 episodes, set to debut in March, 2012. "The bridesmaids appeal to more people," Bridals By Lori owner Lori Allen told us. "Men have stopped me and said they watch it. There's intrigue in how 10 people can make a decision. I've always told people how crazy the store gets. Now they are really getting to see what happens."
