Who was the mysterious blonde woman in black leather boots trying to buy a ceramic Virgin Mary behind the bar at Church (aka Sister Louisa’s Church of the Living Room & Ping Pong Emporium) in the Old Fourth Ward Monday night?

According to eye witnesses, it was Lady Gaga, who arrived in a black Cadillac Escalade accompanied by cast members of the “The Vampire Diaries,” a TV series on CW that films in Covington. While the bartender tried to persuade bar owner Grant Henry to name a price for the ceramic Virgin Mary, Lady Gaga could be seen brandishing two paddles over the ping pong table upstairs and striking pinup girl poses on the red leather couch while admirers snapped photographs of her boots, which she claimed to have bought just that day for $29.

When a member of her entourage asked a waitress if they could have a pizza delivered to the bar, Lady Gaga reportedly nixed the request with a vehement “No food!”

And with that, they departed the bar, leaving the Virgin Mary behind.
