Kara DioGuardi on Ellen: 'I Think She's a Brilliant Choice'

We caught up with DioGuardi at Vera Wang's store at the Fashion's Night Out event in New York on Thursday night. She was excited that her rookie days are over, saying, "Whew! I’m actually happy not to be the new judge anymore."

She told ET of her initial reaction to hearing the news that Ellen would be joining the team. "I was on the plane when I found out and I literally wanted to scream," said the now-veteran judge.
