Kanye West was awarded an honorary doctorate degree in Chicago on Monday.

After 90 minutes of traditional graduation introductions and speeches, West was presented with his diploma.

In his remarks, West said he was feeling “the nerves of humility and modesty” while pondering the honorary degree and then joked he needed “to get rid of that feeling.”
