John Goodman debuted his new physique at the London premiere of “Trumbo” on Thursday night.
Goodman, 63, stood amongst co-stars Helen Mirren and Bryan Cranston to promote the new film in which Goodman plays the lead role.
The 6'2 actor has openly talked about struggles with his weight.
In 2010, Goodman lost 100 pounds, which he credited to cutting sugar and alcohol from his diet and to working out six days a week. "It takes a lot of creative energy to sit and figure out what you're going to eat next," he told People.
That same year, Goodman told David Letterman that his weight has flucuated severely, even reaching nearly 400 pounds at one point.
"I'd get off of 'Roseanne' every spring. I'd lose 60 pounds every spring," he said at the time. "Then I got too fond of the barleycorn. I'd gain it back and then some, every year. It's going to be an ongoing process for the rest of my life," he said.
