Kate Hudson and Alex Rodriguez, long rumored to be romantically involved, are indeed dating and are "somewhat serious," people.com reports.
The couple were spotted together last month at a restaurant in New York City, and the New York Post reported as far back as January that the 30-year-old actress and 34-year-old baseball star were an item.
"It's somewhat serious," people.com quotes an unnamed source as saying. "He introduced her to a bunch of his friends."
People also reported that Hudson and her son, Ryder, 5, accompanied A-Rod to Dallas last month when the Yankees played the Texas Rangers. Hudson and Rodriguez stayed at the same hotel and worked out together in the fitness center, People reports.
It's not A-Rod's first brush with celebrity. He's coming off a relationship with a much older woman - pop superstar Madonna, who will turn 51 in August. Hudson is the daughter of actress-comedian Goldie Hawn.
