Dwight Howard is not just battling the Atlanta Hawks.

According to the celebrity website TMZ, the Orlando Magic star wants the mother of his son -- “Basketball Wives” star Royce Reed -- to pay him a half-million dollars for violating a court order that prohibits her from talking about him in the press.

Howard, an Atlanta native who played high school ball at Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy, has filed papers with a California court that could give him the right to go after Reed’s assets in California, says TMZ.

Howard claims Reed owes him more than $500,000, including interest. Paying up could be a problem for Reed, however; TMZ says she has zero assets in California.

The Magic and Hawks are playing in Round 1 of the NBA playoffs. Atlanta leads the series 3 games to 1.
