People magazine has reported that George Clooney will return to the show "ER," which is now filming its final season. Clooney played the part of Dr. Doug Ross in the the medical drama's first six seasons.
Sources close to the show told the magazine that John Wells, the show's co-creator, ordered the set closed in order to keep Clooney's return a secret.
Neither the show's producers nor NBC would comment to People on the rumor. The show's final season, which will be its 15th, was recently extended by four episodes.
