SkyRobics at Sky Zone Atlanta Indoor Trampoline Park

Folks are jumping into fitness at this trampoline-lined play palace. An instructor takes participants through a low-impact combination of advanced calisthenics, core exercises and strength-building aerobics. It all takes place on the trampoline courts. Sky Zone is the only spot in Atlanta to offer indoor trampoline aerobics classes. Participants slip on the jumping shoes provided and have the opportunity to burn as much as 1,000 calories per hour. While mom or dad are working out, for the same price tots can experience the 32,000 square feet of wall-to-wall trampolines and have access to Dodgeball, Sky Slam and the Foam Zone.

Atlanta Tattoo Expo at Crowne Plaza Atlanta-Perimeter

It’s no secret tattoos have been inking their way into mainstream America for years. No longer strictly limited to rockers, bikers and members of the military, we all know tattoos can be easily found on soccer moms, college professors and all points in between. So you’ll probably find a decent cross section of folks at the Atlanta Tattoo Expo. Now in its 16th year, the three-day gathering features about 50 artists showcasing their work. Seminars, vendors and, of course, tattooing will be available. Live music includes performances by Dixie Duncan, Foz Rock and Digital Slumber Party. Those looking to show off body art that’s typically unseen can enter the bikini contest Saturday evening. Tattoo contests take place, too.

3 p.m.-midnight June 29; noon-midnight June 30; noon-7 p.m. July 1. $20; $30 two-day pass; $40 three-day pass; free ages 18 and younger. Crowne Plaza Atlanta-Perimeter, 6345 Powers Ferry Road N.W., Atlanta. 770-955-1700, www.atlantatattooexpo.com.
