A contestant on the VH-1 reality show "Flavor of Love" is facing child cruelty charges in Cobb County.

"Hotlanta," whose real name is Nicole Marie Essigmann, was booked into the county jail on Jan. 30 on two simple battery charges as well as a charge of cruelty to children 3rd degree.

The 29-year-old Marietta woman, who is also known as Nicole Jamz and Nikky Jamz, was arrested at her apartment, according to Cobb County Sheriff's Office records. She was released on $2,500 bond after spending about six hours in jail.

Details surrounding her arrest have not been released.

On Flavor of Love, female contestants go to rapper Flavor Flav's mansion to compete for his love.
