Fernbank's reptile day will offer close look at scaly creatures

Fernbank Natural History Museum’s annual “Reptile Day” will feature a live display of lizards, turtles and salamanders, a demonstration focusing on native Georgia reptiles and the opportunity for guests to take home a handmade Leopard Gecko hat.

The July 30 event runs from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., with reptile demonstrations at 11 a.m., noon, 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Events are included with museum admission and free for members.
