"Twilight" actress Nikki Reed stars in a new movie filming now in Atlanta, "The Sunday Horse."

The movie also stars Ryan Merriman, Rhoda Griffis, John Redlinger, Mandy June Turpin, Randall Taylor, Georgina Rawlings and Mary Shaw. Here's the plot, per imdb.com: "After a near-fatal accident, on a horse the experts thought was nothing special, a determined rider from the wrong side of the tracks defies all the odds to pursue her dreams of winning a national jumping championship."

It’s been filming in Conyers and Loganville.

We interviewed Reed when she and fellow Twilighters Jackson Rathbone, Ashley Greene and Charlie Bewley were in Atlanta promoting the third in the teen fantasy series, "Breaking Dawn Part 1." That's the one where Bella mopes around, Edward looks all grim and pasty and Jacob keeps taking his shirt off. Oh wait. Actually, that's all of them.

Anyway, we asked her the most salient question we could think of: Team Edward or Team Jacob? “I think (Bella) should be with Jacob,” she said at the time. Ah, well.

More than just a pretty face

Model and mom Niki Taylor was in town this week for a series of business meetings, and it sounds like the "Celebrity Apprentice" alum has some interesting partnerships coming together.

"I'm really interested to work in (Atlanta)," she said during an interview at Establishment, a Buckhead restaurant and cocktail lounge co-owned by her agent Brandon Lewis, also owner of Click Models-Atlanta. "You guys are my neighbors. I live in Nashville."

She enjoys spending time with her husband and four kids in their Tennessee spread and keeps up with fans on her Facebook page, where she offers tips and answers questions. Best beauty tip: Cheap shampoo works just fine, she revealed.

Her advice to young models launching their careers in the Instagram era: “Never take anything for granted. Don’t think you’re bigger than you are. Any job you’re given, that’s a door open to you.”

Still stunning in her late 30s, Taylor said her only relationship with cosmetic procedures is her collection of funky tattoos.

“I like scars. I like blemishes. I like people to look real,” she said. “You want to look like you. There’s only one you. Love it!”
