Atlanta Grammy chapter producing seminar to help independent musicians, producers, managers

The Atlanta Chapter of The Recording Academy is producing “Grammy GPS: A Road Map for Today's Music Biz,” a professional development seminar aimed at independent music artists, producers, labels and managers.

The event will take place from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. July 30 at The Bailey Performance Center at Kennesaw State University.

Panelists include singers Ed Roland of Collective Soul and Kelly Price; vocal coach Jan Smith; Deerhunter drummer Moses Archuleta; producers Mike Clink and Kenneth “Duro” Ifill; and film music supervisors PJ Bloom and Maureen Crowe.

Recording Academy members can attend for free; non-members are $100.

Mandatory RSVP is required by July 27 at 404-816-1380 or atlanta@grammy.com. No walk-ups will be admitted.
