Adam Levine, Behati Prinsloo welcome daughter

Pop star Adam Levine and his wife, Namibian model Behati Prinsloo, have welcomed a new voice into their home with the birth of their baby girl.

E! News was the first to report the birth on Thursday.

Levine's spokeswoman, Carleen Donovon, told The Associated Press that the couple welcomed a daughter, who they named Dusty Rose Levine. No other information on the birth was immediately available.

Prinsloo, a Victoria's Secret model, and Levine, a regular coach on NBC's "The Voice," have been married for two years. Dusty Rose is the couple's first child.

"It's awesome," Levine told E! News in April after learning that he was going to be a father. "I'm going to spoil (Behati). ... I love kids so much."

Levine apologized earlier this month after Maroon 5 canceled seven tour dates ahead of Prinsloo's due date.

"We kind of wanted to make sure we could do whatever we could to make it as smooth as possible, (but) unfortunately it's just – it's life, and it's beautiful but it can be complicated and I apologize for any inconvenience," the Maroon 5 frontman said in a video posted to Instagram.

The tour dates were rescheduled for early 2017.
