Palin, and other speakers help metro Atlantans 'Seize the Day'

Sarah Palin was a huge hit with the crowd Tuesday, Nov. 9, at the Seize the Day event at Philips Arena. Invited speakers included Palin, Bill O'Reilly, Tom Hopkins, Phil Town, Laura Bush, Terry Bradshaw, Ben Stein, John Maxwell, and Les Brown. Palin spoke about overcoming obstacles.

Sarah Palin was the youngest person and the first woman elected Governor of Alaska. Chosen by Republican Party presidential candidate John McCain in August 2008 to be his running mate in that year's presidential election, Palin was the first Alaskan on the national ticket of a major party, and the first female vice-presidential nominee of the GOP.

Bill O'Reilly talked about achieving goals and using your talent, but got political toward the end when he talked about his interview with President Obama. The largely conservative crowd cheered loudly when he talked about his upcoming interview with former President George Bush.

Bill O'Reilly talked about goal achievement and using your talent. "Seize the Day" was the theme of an all day series of speakers at Philips Arena in Atlanta.

Tom Hopkins talked about sales and negotiation. He is the author of books including "How to Master the Art of Selling" and "Selling for Dummies."

Tom Hopkins, who worked his way up selling real estate and authored eight books, is seen on the big screen in the center of Philips Arena.

Former Green Beret and multi-millionaire investor Phil Town talked about wealth management and how he worked his way up after the Army when he was a river rafting guide in the Grand Canyon.
