Cardi B turns heads as she heads to court in club brawl case

The singer-rapper appeared in Queens on Tuesday in the attempted assault case

Days after she made history on the cover of Vogue magazine, Cardi B was stealing the show once more.

Cardi, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, appeared in a Queens, New York, court Wednesday for her hearing on felony charges from an August 2018 strip club fight.

She kept quiet as photographers snapped her photo. But Cardi’s black feather-trimmed coat and wide-brimmed black fur hat needed no words, as they made a statement all their own.

The “Press” rapper smiled as she entered the building with the feathered tail of her coat behind her.

She wasn’t all silent, however. Cardi remarked about the court date on Instagram by sharing photos of herself.

“Court,” she captioned the photo set that included an amused emoji and eye rolling emoji.

Billboard reported the hearing focused on Cardi's attorneys' efforts to obtain social media messages from the alleged victims.

The former reality TV star is accused  of attacking two bartenders on Aug. 29, 2018. The bartenders — sisters Jade and Baddie Gi — say Cardi thought one of them was having an affair with her husband, Offset. Bottles and chairs allegedly injured the bartenders. The rapper, who reunited with her Migos hubby after they split last December, was ordered not to contact the alleged victims.

“We believe she’s innocent, and so we’re investigating all aspects,” Billboard reported the rapper’s attorney Drew Findling said after court.

Cardi previously pleaded not guilty to attacking the victims, one of whom, Jade, is said to be Tekashi 6ix9ine's girlfriend, TMZ reported.

The next court date is in January.
