Despite the glamorous image, Cardi B’s history-making photo shoot for Vogue magazine was not all Hollywood perfection.

The “Press” rapper donned a Michael Kors collection dress and her 17-month-old daughter Kulture wore a matching red dress. But that’s apparently where the cohesion ended.

“This was the hardest shoot to do ever,” Cardi explained on Instagram Sunday. “My baby dirty the dress ,she was up early in the morning (which she hates), and she had a straight face all day but .....WE MADE IT TO THE VOGUE COVER ! Thank you @voguemagazine.”

The accompanying footage displayed Kulture’s serious expression. Meanwhile, Cardi remained focused on posing for photographer Annie Leibovitz as the rapper held her little one.

While the shoot focused on mom and daughter, Cardi’s husband, Migos member Offset, was the subject of much of the story.

Offset allegedly cheated on his wife last year after she gave birth to their daughter. When Cardi took him back, backlash ensued.

“If you love somebody and you stop being with them, and you’re depressed and social media is telling you not to talk to that person because he cheated, you’re not really happy on the inside until you have the conversation,” Cardi said in the January 2020 issue. “Then, if you get back with them, it’s like, how could you? You let all of us down. People that be in marriages for years, when they say till death do us part, they not talking about little arguments like if you leave the fridge open. That’s including everything.”
