Bring your dogs, cats and even your hamsters.

The Powder Springs First United  Methodist Church will hold a "Blessing of the Animals" celebration at 4 p.m. Oct. 3 in the back parking lot of the church, 4329 Marietta St. in Powder Springs.

All types of animals, big and  small, are welcome to attend. All pets should be on a leash or in a pet carrier.

For further information contact the church office at (770) 943-5130, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays.

In case of rain, the ceremony will be rescheduled.
