Zoo Atlanta visitors will need to bring their bathing suits on future visits to the attraction. That's because the new Splash Fountain is slated to open July 4

The new interactive water attraction, sponsored by the Atlanta Fulton County Recreation Authority on the grounds of Zoo Atlanta, will be free with general admission. It will offer visitors an entertaining break as they enjoy the Zoo’s naturalistic habitats, keeper talks, animal training demonstrations, wildlife shows and other daily activities.

“We’re delighted about opening the Splash Fountain this summer," said Raymond B. King, president and CEO. "Zoo Atlanta enjoys a reputation as an outstanding family destination, and this feature will give our members and guests yet another fun reason to visit, play, and explore the Zoo."
