Six Flags over Georgia is having a season pass sale through Sept. 5. The passes are good for admission to Six Flags Over Georgia (and all Six Flags theme parks) and Six Flags White Water for the remainder of 2016 and all of 2017.
And although Labor Day Weekend in Atlanta may unofficially mark the end of summer, Six Flags is open Labor Day and most weekends through Jan. 4, 2017.
Here are the details on the 2017 season pass:
Cost: $51.99 (more than 70 percent off regular price)
Free parking: Every pass includes free parking.
Other benefits: Bring a Friend free offers; other admission discounts; free Holiday in the Park Ticket; free upgrade to Gold Pass. You must process the season pass at the park by Sept. 25 to get the free Holiday in the Park ticket.
Can add on: All Season Dining Pass for $79.99; good at all Six Flags theme parks and Six Flags White Water.

Six Flags Over Georgia is west of Atlanta on I-20 outside of I-285 (275 Riverside Parkway, Austell).
Open Labor Day and most weekends through Jan. 4. Hours vary; check website for details. General admission at the gate is $65.99 for adults and $45.99 for children under 48 inches tall, but discounts abound; save up to $20 on adult tickets at www.sixflags.com/overgeorgia if you buy a ticket at least one day before your visit. AAA and some credit unions also sell discounted tickets. Children 2 and younger are admitted for free.
