As "Pokemon Go" overtakes mammoth apps like Twitter and Tinder, Poke-mania is in full swing as Atlanta residents leave their homes in search of Pokestops and gyms in the metro area.

Thanks to the spirited group of gamers on Reddit, newbies to the game can scout out their next destination on an interactive map of relevant spots in the game.

It's a smorgasboard of spots including everything from churches to gritty music venues and historic destinations, too.

Here are some Atlanta landmarks and popular places that have become Eevee breeding grounds overnight:

Oakland Cemetery
248 Oakland Ave. SE, Atlanta

This Old Fourth Ward cemetery is the oldest in Atlanta, founded in 1850 as "Atlanta Cemetery" and renamed Oakland Cemetery two decades later after the oak trees growing in the area. The last plots were sold over 100 years ago, but there are still regular burials at this historic location on family-owned plots. Oakland is far from the only cemetery on "Pokemon Go," and contraversy has bubbled up around the country as Pokémon hunters traipse through memorials without a sense of reverence. The bottom line? Try to tread carefully when weaving through graves — we wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of any ire from beyond the grave just for seeking a Gengar in AR.

The Drunken Unicorn
736 Ponce De Leon Pl. NE, Atlanta

With virtually no signage, no phone number and sparing opening hours, visitors should consider themselves lucky to find this Atlanta music venue on the first try. These grimy digs have given way to plenty of memorable rock shows from up-and-coming local bands and national touring acts alike, and it would be wise to seek out a show schedule before showing up unannounced on your own Pokemon-driven tour.

Gold Room
2416 Piedmont Road NE, Atlanta

This nightclub moved in almost a decade the fabled Gold Club, a strip lounge, closed down amidst federal racketeering charges. What happens at this location may be less scandalous, but it's certainly no less rowdy. Atlantans can visit The Gold Room for concerts and DJ parties without sacrificing time to hunt down Eevees.

Chastain Park Playground
4469 Stella Drive NW, Atlanta

Chastain is the largest city park in Atlanta, and while it may offer tennis courts, golf courses and an amphitheatre within close vicinity, the draw for those hunting for Pokemon will have is the landmark's playground. Maybe finding a gym on a jungle gym isn't the most unexpected discovery for those playing Pokemon Go after all, but those who remember Pikachu from their youth will undoubtably find an added nostalgia in this gamer hotspot.

Freedom Park (Battle of Atlanta Landmark)
Moreland Avenue NE, Atlanta

This location gained its historical significance during the Civil War, when William T. Sherman watched the city of Atlanta burn from Copenhill. Now, Freedom Park is one of Atlanta's many green spaces and includes art installations and paths for residents of Old Fourth Ward, but that doesn't mean there aren't new battles to be fought there. Whether you're Team Valor, Team Mystic, Team Instinct or Team This-Looks-Ridiculous, the park has already become a hub for activity within the game.

The Chop House at Turner Field
755 Hank Aaron Drive SE, Atlanta

There may not be much enthusiasm for the Atlanta Braves' performance this year, but there's at least one reason to buy tickets and make the trek to Turner Field while the baseball team still calls it home: the beer-soaked section at The Chop House is a gym. Next time an oblivious fan wins up on the big screen with his or her nose in their phone, at least we'll know why.

The Varsity
61 North Ave. NW, Atlanta

This Atlanta landmark is a must-stop for anyone looking for a good hot dog or a tasty frozen orange. Touted as the world's largest drive-in, The Varsity has been in operation since 1930 and continues to serve up the greatest greasy meal around. The restaurant had high volume already, churning out two miles of hotdogs a day, so the added volume of game players visiting this gym is just standard procedure for the well-known spot. The Varsity may not be selling candy or stardust (yet), but it's important for humans to refuel, too, right?

Mount Carmel Christian Church
2755 Campbellton Road SW, Atlanta

It wouldn't be a stretch to turn this game into an all-church tour of Atlanta, and Mount Carmel is one of several churches on the map for Pokemon Go players. This church has been around since the 1930s and currently serves its congregation with two locations. The church broadcasts on Word Network on Saturdays at 12:30 p.m. and Channel 57 WATC on Saturdays at 8:30 p.m., but you'll have to go to the house of worship in real life for any chance at catching 'em all.
