"Chihuly in the Garden"

Hundreds of pieces of colorful glass will be on display in the form of 20 installations at the Atlanta Botanical Garden starting this weekend.

The work of Seattle artist Dale Chihuly will return to the space for an encore presentation through October.

It took ten workers about two weeks to set up the exhibit, which includes three installations that were created specifically for Atlanta.

Along with a "plant-to-plate" restaurant led by Chef Linton Hopkins, the Chihuly exhibit helps celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Atlanta Botanical Garden.

If You Go: times vary. April 30-Oct. 30. Prices vary. Atlanta Botanical Garden, 1345 Piedmont Ave., Atlanta. Atlantabg.org.

BBQ & Brews

There’s never a shortage of festivals offering the much-desired pairing of beer and barbecue. This weekend, BBQ & Brews will take over downtown Canton offering barbecue competition, craft beer and live music.

Even if you aren’t into barbecue, you can still enjoy this event. Snack on food truck offerings from popular companies such as Nana G’s and King of Pops or compete in a game of cornhole while socializing.

Atlanta Taco Festival

In many ways, eating a great taco is as exhilarating as hearing a great song.

Weave through Atlanta’s taco scene and discover who makes your favorite at the Atlanta Taco Festival.

Pair your taco picks with tequila while listening to live music from DJ Mike and Bird City Revolutionaries at this festival.

If You Go: 1-7 p.m. May 1. Starting at $27 (for adults). Candler Park, 1500 McLendon Ave., Atlanta. AtlantaTacoFestival.com.

Beyonce

The Atlanta BeyHive will get into Formation on Sunday when pop superstar Beyonce brings her latest album to life at the Georgia Dome.

Even if you haven’t seen or heard the singer’s visual album, you’ve likely read about it. A sonic blend of pop, rock, funk, hip-hop and more, the album finds the typically private singer unabashedly exploring the ups and downs of marriage.

The storyline has certainly gotten the entertainment world buzzing about the status of Beyonce and music mogul Jay z's marriage, and solidified the singer's status as one of today's biggest artists.

Her concerts are always a huge spectacle, so the Formation World Tour is sure to be entertaining, especially with this new material.

If You Go: 7:30 p.m. May 1. $45-$280. Georgia Dome, 1 Georgia Dome Dr., Atlanta. Gadome.com.
