Linda McCartney photo exhibit opens in London

Pictures by the late photographer and wife of Beatle Paul McCartney.

MCCARTNEYS WERE PLENTIFUL at the art exhibit displaying the late Linda McCartney's photographs. Sir Paul McCartney (right) and son James are seen at the exhibit, which coincides with the 10th anniversary of Paul McCartney's wife's death from breast cancer.

PAUL AND LINDA'S designer daughter, Stella, attends the exhibit at James Hyman Gallery in London. It officially opens Friday.

THE FORMER Linda Eastman was working as a photographer and had snapped many famous musicians when she met her future husband. She took this picture of John Lennon and Paul McCartney. (The man at left is unidentified.)

THESE TWO PICTURES depict singers Janis Joplin and Mick Jagger. (The woman walking past is unidentified.)

GALLERY OWNER James Hyman talks to the press prior to the opening.

PAUL AND LINDA attend daughter Stella's Chloe fashion show in October 1997. Linda died six months after the photograph was taken. Her legacy lives on in a book, Linda McCartney's Sixties: Portrait of an Era, and in a line of frozen, vegetarian foods that reflect her passion toward animals.
