If you want to see the new Noguchi sculpture on the front lawn of the High Museum or catch the last days of the Jean-Michel Basquiat exhibit, today would be a good day to go.

The art museum offers free admission all day as part of the Association of Art Museum Directors’ (AAMD) seventh annual Art Museum Day.

"Basquiat: The Unknown Notebooks" leaves Atlanta on May 29. Check out the late one-time graffiti artist whose self-portrait just sold for $57 million.

Also on display are the unconventional photographs of Vik Muniz, and a new exhibit of carved wooden folk art from a collection given to the high by Los Angeles philanthropist Gordon W. Bailey.

The High is at 1280 Peachtree St. and is open from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. today. No tickets necessary. Purchase parking in advance here.
