The homeowners, who fell in love with outdoor showers on their travels to Bali and have an Asian-inspired garden, wanted to create a natural transition from their garden to their interior, especially the shower. They used stacked, pebble accent tile, black basalt on the shower floor and other natural stone materials to create the effect.

In the first-floor bathroom, the steel tub and frameless shower door was removed. It was replaced with a stone shower and frameless glass sliders.

A generous shower with unique water features, an ice glass block window and a convenient seat replaced a traditional tub. Natural sycamore cabinetry, in a high-gloss finish, offers a warm contrast to the floor and wall tiles.

Make the drain disappear in a traditional, four-way pitched shower with a square tile drain. Decorative, flush-to-the-floor square drains come in a variety of designs and finishes.

Inspired by the trench drain, Infinity Drain linear drain systems are available in multiple lengths and styles. With their clean, narrow profiles, linear drains are a hot look. A linear drain can be installed along a rear or side wall and not disrupt the tile design.

Instead of a tub, a shower was created in the guest bathroom of this home in Suwanee's River Club subdivision. The spacious shower had room for a built-in tiled bench, a popular feature.

This new bathroom included an open, airy shower and a convenient area to towel off. A frameless glass shower door, teamed with light-colored marble tiles in the shower and on the floor, makes the bathroom look bigger.

Two busy executives wanted to create a spa-type experience in their master suite bathroom. Instead of a tub, a large, curb-less shower with an overhead rain shower was built. Unique faucets, a floating vanity and a monochromatic color scheme help convey to the spa look. Since the couple plan to stay in the home, a grab bar in the shower was added if the need arises.

In this home, the tub was taken out of the curved master bathroom. The tub was replaced with a round, glass-tiled shower, which included a linear drain and niches for soaps and shampoo.
