Bennett Hutchison, owner of Tip Top Roofers, based in Smyrna, and his wife Gayle relax on the deck of their Vinings home.

The home boasts a cedar shake exterior, with stonework and stucco trim.

One of the Hutchisons' favorite outdoor features is the riverfront setting.

The kitchen has all the makings of a gourmet kitchen, including a commercial grade Wolf range and a Bosch dishwasher. The brass lamps bring a nautical theme into the home. A prep kitchen is attached to the pantry, providing space for caterers when the couple entertains.

The "canoe room," named for the antique canoes hanging from the ceiling trusses.

A black iron custom-made chandelier with imitation candlelight was chosen specifically for the "canoe room." The couple was able to save about two-thirds of the furnishings and antiques they had collected, but the upholstery needed to be replaced.

The bar is a perfect spot to enterain family, guests and friends.

An Indonesian mahogany secretary (far left), situated between the living room and the canoe room, is a favorite piece owned by the couple. The home has five fireplaces.

A residential elevator provides a convenient way for the couple to move around their home.

Slate walls line the stairwell and also are in the showers.
