The Brick Store Brew Pub in Decatur offers a comfortable enviroment with a vast selection of beer.

Eddie's Attic is located on the Decatur Square and is one of the most popular music venues in the Atlanta area. Known for promoting acoustic and folk music artists, local performers who have played on their stage and gone on to great success includes The Indigo Girls (pictured here), Shawn Mullins, Michelle Malone and many more.

Decatur has its own celebrity chef, Scott Peacock. He is dedicated to promoting Southern cuisine with the freshest of ingredients at his landmark, award-winning restaurant, Watershed. His muse and friend, the late Edna Lewis, is pictured to the right of Peacock.

The old courthouse on the square in downtown Decatur is a historical landmark. It can be rented for weddings and other special events.

Decatur is a very family-friendly and environmentally conscious community. Alternative forms of transit, including bike trails and innovative devices like the Pedicab are promoted throughout the city to foster community and the green lifestyle.

Agnes Scott College is a women's higher learning institution located in Decatur.
