Visiting the World of Coca-Cola during the holidays has become a tradition for some locals, as well as guests from around the world.
If you're home for the holidays and wondering what to do with your time, you only have one more week to check out the seasonal offerings at the attraction where the holiday fun runs through New Year's weekend.
The World of Coca-Cola entrance has been transformed into a winter wonderland with ornament trees and "Happy Holidays" greetings in languages from around the world. Outside on Pemberton Place, guests can take photos in giant ornaments and view a special light display.
Enjoy seasonal exhibits: Special seasonal exhibits inside the attraction include "A Coca-Cola Christmas Celebration" which illustrates Coca-Cola's holiday focus on an international scale and "History of the Coca-Cola Santa" which explains the relationships between Saint Nick and The Coca-Cola Company including Santa paintings by artist Haddon Sundblom that Coca-Cola commissioned in the 1930s.
Taste special holiday beverages : For a limited time, guests can also experience special holiday flavored Coca-Cola beverages at the sampling bar in the Taste It! beverage lounge. The special flavors include Gingerbread Coke, Diet Gingerbread Coke and Chocolate Cherry Coke.
Shop for unique gifts: Get unique last-minute gifts at the World of Coca-Cola Store from the 5by20 artisan collection. The collection features handcrafted items from female entrepreneurs around the globe. The women recycle used Coke items such as glass bottles or pull tabs from cans to created their handmade gifts. The 5by20 initiative was created to empower 5 million women entrepreneurs by the year 2020.
Take a selfie with a Polar Bear: Guests can document their holiday visit by taking pictures with the Coca-Cola Polar Bear who is available for selfies and hugs. They can also take pictures on Santa's sleigh against a backdrop of Santa himself.
