Atlanta-based singer Usher Raymond, spent Thursday Snapchatting his way from LA to ATL.
On the journey, his followers got an eyeful, when Usher posted a nude selfie and tried (only semi-successfully) to hide is man bits behind an emoji.
Presumably, Usher was heading home from Coachella where he joined Major Lazer on stage to perform a few songs as a tribute to Prince:
Usher has been a Snapchatting fool lately but he took it to new levels when he led followers on a tour of his house after arriving home to Atlanta.
This included closeup images of artwork by Romare Bearden and photographer Gordon Parks.
He kept snapping all the way into a steamy shower and set off social media with a nudie pic. Reactions flowed in from viewers who were sort of appalled, but mostly enthralled:
After all that exposure, he then snapped himself in bed while assuring everyone, that yes, he wears pajamas.
The whole shebang left everyone scrambling to figure out how to follow Usher on Snapchat to see his stories (his handle is howusnap) which is a pretty effective technique for growing your audience.
Usher's hyperactive Snapchatting could very well be in response to the latest news that most people who use Snapchat are making videos which has in turn created an increased demand for content.
The company told investors that more than a third of Snapchat’s daily users create Snapchat stories by broadcasting photos and videos from their lives that last 24 hours.
Users are reportedly watching 10 billion videos a day on the application.
