They don't serve Subway in the slammer.

Jared Fogle, the pedophile ex-pitchman for the sandwich chain who gained stardom after losing more than 200 pounds eating Subway, has been rapidly gaining weight in prison, according to In Touch magazine .

Fogle has been serving the first few months of a 15-year prison sentence. He pled guilty to charges of child pornography and having sex with underage prostitutes in November.

After just three months in a Colorado prison, Fogle has reportedly gained 30 pounds.

“Jared’s breakfast is usually Frosted Flakes with fruit or oatmeal with cake. He loves ‘cake day’ in the dining hall twice a week and he buys Honey Buns by the box, as well as other pastries, in the commissary on his weekly shopping day,” adds the insider. "He’s been known to eat an entire box of eight at one sitting!” reports In Touch.

The prison insider also suggested that Fogle, could be suffering from depression.

Why? Because prison isn't very kind to pedophiles (or informants) according to those who would know. Fogle has likely been stress eating.

Fellow prisoners have taunted him and called him "dirty child rapist" and other derogatory names.

He was allegedly slapped across the face by another prisoner and according to insiders, that is probably just the beginning of what Fogle can expect during his years behind bars.
