Fast Times at Ridgemont High coming to Atlanta theaters for 35th anniversary

July 20, 2017

Hey Dude, let's party...at a movie theater near you.

On Sunday, July 30 and Wednesday, August 2 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., fans of the 1982 film Fast Times at Ridgemont High can catch the movie once again on the big screen at Perimeter Point 10 and Avenue Forsyth 12.

It has been 35 years since Sean Penn starred in his memorable role as Jeff Spicoli, the most lovable surfer, stoner in Southern California.

Amy Heckerling was at the helm of the film (her directorial debut) about a year in the life of some pretty eccentric high school sophomores.

The cast also included Jennifer Jason Leigh as Stacy and Phoebe Cates as Linda and early appearances by several other actors who would go on to become major stars including Nicolas Cage, Forest Whitaker and Eric Stoltz.
